Tropica In Vitro 1-2-grow! Blyxa Japonica

Aquarium plant from tissue culture in closed cup.

The Blyxa japonica originates in the nutrient rich shallow pools of water, swamps and slowly flowing rivers in East and South East Asia. The plant has gained notoriety thanks to the late Takashi Amano and his aquarium works from the 90s. Blyxa has a distinct grass-like appearance that moves easily in the circulating aquarium water creating a sense of dynamicity in comparison to other more robust plants.

Blyxa Japonica is considered to be of medium difficulty to maintain. It is suitable for nano aquariums. Nutrition capsules will enhance the growth considerably. In Vitro plants are grown in a sterile environment free from algae, snails and pests.

1 - Carefully take the plant out of the cup and rinse off the growing media under the tap.
