Sisyrinchium Californicum, also called Yellow Eyed Grass, has miniature Iris-type foliage with masses of star-shaped yellow flowers. Prefers moist to damp soil. Little maintenance is required. Trim after foliage has died back in Autumn to tidy. This plant prefers damp ground rather than in the pond.
